Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1 year of teller experience or equivalent experience involving cash handling, sales, lending, or customer service
Ability to effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards and achieve member satisfaction
Ability to learn and apply information on a wide range of Credit Union products, services, and regulatory compliance requirements to assess member situations and develop solutions
Ability to utilize knowledge and experience in performing job functions
Ability to communicate in a professional manner and deliver information clearly and effectively, actively listen to questions, opinions, and ideas of others, and use tact and diplomacy in sensitive and confidential situations
Ability to promote and foster excellent member service and teamwork
Ability to use correct English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to operate computers
Availability for non-traditional business hours, including early morning and late evening

Responsibilities

Maintains a professional image and demeanor at all times, consistently demonstrating Credit Union RISE Values and adhering to the Code of Ethics
Delivers friendly, caring service to internal and external members
Greets members, assesses their needs and concerns, and takes initiative to develop solutions to ensure member satisfaction
Documents and processes member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other services
Provides information and promotes appropriate products and services to match member needs, including but not limited to new accounts, deposit products, loan products, credit cards, and insurance products
Utilizes knowledge of Credit Union products and services to provide solutions to members' concerns and problems and follows through to ensure member satisfaction
Complies with all applicable regulatory requirements and Credit Union policies and procedures
Adheres to all security procedures and maintains strict confidentiality of all member information
Completes training and self-study to achieve and maintain required knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and overall operations
Completes required online regulatory and compliance training on a semi-annual basis, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and USA Patriot Act
Works scheduled hours and maintains punctuality
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
