The Setup Ops team is responsible for getting new customers to their first payroll run with Check’s partner businesses. This is one of our most critical jobs to accelerate partner growth, and we take our work seriously. We strive to bring attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service to every interaction. Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll implementation/account management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple setup projects (i.e. payroll implementations) simultaneously, across a variety of partner businesses and previous payroll systems.
  • Be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of projects, holding a high quality bar for yourself and your team.
  • Collaborate with your team and cross-functionally to create and improve processes, process documentation, and tooling.
  • Provide customer service via tickets, email, and phone/video directly to both partners building payroll businesses on Check and to companies in the process of joining those partner platforms.
  • Drive operational efficiency, meeting SLAs to ensure seamless company onboarding.
  • Provide direct assistance to outsourcing teams and customers dealing with complex payroll scenarios identified during the setup process.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with outsourcing partners, overseeing setup projects to accurate, successful completion.
