Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience in electrical controls or related fields
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as contribute on team projects
Knowledge of computers, remote interfaces, and networking (familiarity with Linux is a plus)
Applies knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, RF and programming
Previous experience with database entry and passionate attention to detail
Previous military, RF communications, and SCADA Systems experience are a plus
Knowledge of RF communication, electrical wiring, computer use and interface, exposure to network systems, use of job-related test equipment and software applications, strong customer centricity, cybersecurity best practices, telephone support, and problem identification/resolution
Knowledge in PLC control systems and control logic is a plus
Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work indoors/outdoors; may be exposed to heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
Some travel may be required for on-call support within southeastern US (Florida)

Responsibilities

Performs remote and onsite troubleshooting techniques and analysis of DFS equipment and systems
Routinely tests software in lab to duplicate failures and present findings to development
