Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, with proficiency in English
  • No prior experience in service sales required; Minimum 2 years experience in Sales is advantage, preferably within a service organization or provider
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel 50% (overnight, within territory or locations)
  • It would be a plus: Basic understanding of biotech or life sciences (training will be provided)

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions including service contacts, preventive maintenance programs, spare parts and repair services
  • Develop and maintain strong consultative sales relationships with all key-buying influences in each account
  • Engage in various sales activities, including prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations and negotiating contracts
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth understanding of the customer's organization, increased dedication to their account, timely communication, and thorough follow-up
  • Coordinate between customers, service engineers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services
  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars
