Candidates must possess at least 6 years of relevant industry experience and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or HTML. A strong understanding of relational databases like MySQL, including writing efficient SQL queries, is necessary. Familiarity with QOS & SIP End-to-End call flow troubleshooting of VoIP services, security frameworks (JWT, OAuth2, SAML), and network protocols (TCP/UDP/IP, SIP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, XMPP) is required. Experience with AI, cloud environments, and bug tracking tools like JIRA is also needed, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The Service Engineer will take ownership of technical issues, provide expert support, and lead root cause analysis for customer problems. They will collaborate with engineering teams, handle complex escalations, and improve support processes. This role involves creating automation tools, sharing knowledge, updating Jira, and participating in customer calls for troubleshooting. The engineer will also be part of an on-call rotation to ensure continuous support.
