Requirements

Candidates should possess at least one professional IT certification, such as MCP, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL v4 Foundations. A minimum of 2 years of help desk or service desk experience is required, along with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly in troubleshooting and configuring Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. A solid understanding of Windows desktop operating systems is essential, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

The Service Desk Technician will provide first-level support by promptly and efficiently responding to and resolving user-reported issues. They will offer deskside assistance at the customer's location, addressing hardware and software problems to ensure uninterrupted workflow. The technician will collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, while logging, tracking, and prioritizing service desk tickets in a timely manner. Additionally, they will conduct routine maintenance activities, including system updates, patches, and software installations, and act as a liaison between end-users and Tier 2 support teams for quick resolution of complex issues.
