Requirements

  • Expertise in Workday Payroll and Absence modules
  • Combination of functional and technical expertise in Workday Core HCM and Payroll
  • Experience supporting HR and Payroll business operations with scalable technology solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical partners, including HR Business Partners, COEs, HR Shared Services, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to establish cross-functional relationships throughout HR Technology and Human Resources
  • Awareness of new and planned Workday functionality and engagement with the Workday Community

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to support Workday Core HCM and Payroll functional areas and roadmap, including global priorities
  • Understand business needs and evaluate Workday capabilities through research and testing
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date list of key deliverables and timelines, develop plans to achieve targets, and proactively communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Ensure delivered product meets or exceeds business needs and objectives
  • Support enhancements, project requests, and defects by providing optimal and timely solutions
  • Gather requirements, perform business process optimization, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, and testing; generate necessary documentation
  • Anticipate business needs and provide recommendations based on experience
  • Liaise with systems lead and workstream leads to provide expert guidance and recommendations
  • Ensure timely delivery on KTLO (Keep The Lights On) and fixes, adhering to department service level agreements
  • Partner with workstream and HR Tech leadership on escalations and cross-functional impact, serving as point of contact for follow-up and resolution
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to maintain transparency, consistency in delivery, and set expectations
  • Actively participate in Workday's semi-annual release process, engage with release team on cross-functional initiatives, liaise with Business Leads on critical impacts and enhancements, and support regression testing
  • Lead translation of business requirements to technical solutions and create appropriate timelines
  • Perform fit-gap analysis, functional design, application configuration, user acceptance testing, and maintenance of software solutions; maintain up-to-date documentation
