Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Visual Design, Interaction Design/UX, or a similar field from an accredited university, or have equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in research, UX, and product design is required, along with a strong portfolio showcasing demonstrated work. Understanding of front-end application development in relation to design, experience in a product organization driving products from ideation to launch, and experience designing for customer-facing applications in financial, investment, insurance, or related industries are essential. Proficiency with Figma, Jira, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with knowledge of service design, design systems, Agile methodologies, and prototyping, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer will manage the creation and optimization of Experian's consumer-facing web and native financial products. This involves executing large-scale design projects, establishing and updating UX design processes, and mentoring junior designers. Responsibilities include designing within a complex application ecosystem to ensure a consistent customer experience across websites and mobile apps, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders, and creating design deliverables such as user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes based on research and testing. The role also involves contributing to usability testing, translating research data into functional designs, and creating solutions that grow over time with evolving product functionality and user requirements.
