Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in user experience/product design across web, iOS, and Android platforms. A strong curiosity for problem-solving, self-management skills, and mastery of the end-to-end UX process are essential. Proficiency in Figma, systems thinking, and excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required. A portfolio demonstrating visual craft and systematic thinking is also necessary. Experience in logistics, the Gig economy, and mentoring other designers are considered bonuses.

Responsibilities

The Senior UX Designer will lead the design, development, and implementation of user experience strategies for the Roadie Driver app. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and create design specifications, conducting quantitative and qualitative research to guide design decisions, and developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. The role also involves ensuring designs comply with WCAG accessibility standards, presenting design concepts to stakeholders, providing feedback and mentorship to fellow UX designers, supporting the design system, and contributing to the continuous improvement of UX team processes. Staying updated on industry trends and technologies is also part of the role.
