Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or a related discipline, along with experience writing test plans and procedures and testing software in a distributed networking environment. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience working with Agile Development Practices are required. Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket, is necessary. An active US Secret clearance is also a mandatory requirement. Preferred qualifications include experience utilizing automation test tools and experience with Department of Defense Command and Control Systems.

Responsibilities

The Senior Test Engineer will support the development of system test solutions, prepare and execute comprehensive system/component level test plans, procedures, and test events, and participate in integrated testing activities, resolving conflicts for competing systems. Responsibilities include documenting test requirements and methodologies, reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure test plans meet system needs, supporting the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios, and monitoring system performance trends to identify potential issues and suggest improvements. The role involves participating in verification and validation for all software releases, including new features, enhancements, and defect fixes, leveraging both manual and automated testing methodologies, and working with development teams to identify, track, and document quality assurance issues related to operation, performance, and integration.
