Requirements

The Senior Systems Engineer requires 5+ years of experience in system engineering, Cloud, DevOps, or SRE roles, with strong Linux skills, experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware, KVM), comfort writing scripts (Python, Bash, etc.), experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Biceps, and a good understanding of CI/CD processes and tools. Knowledge of networking basics (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, NAT, etc.) and experience working with cloud or hybrid environments are also required, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

This position involves keeping systems stable, secure, and running smoothly, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) to manage systems, working closely with engineers and product teams, helping design and improve cloud platforms, handling incidents and production issues when needed, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members, and contributing to a #CyberFit future by protecting data, applications, and systems across any environment.
