Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT systems administration, including 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Strong hands-on experience managing Okta, SCIM, and SaaS identity platforms
  • Proven expertise in network management (routing, VPNs, firewalls)

  • Experience scaling a tech stack from 200 employees to 500

Responsibilities

  • Manage, configure, and secure cloud-based SaaS tools (Okta, SCIM connectors, and other identity-integrated platforms)
  • Oversee Google Workspace and Okta administration
  • Maintain and optimize API integrations between business tools to ensure data integrity and workflow efficiency
  • Lead automation initiatives for system provisioning, user lifecycle management, and configuration management, along with experience automating IT tasks via HRIS (Rippling, HRBamboo, etc)
  • Oversee access management, SSO, and MFA enforcement across systems
  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with internal and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and audit SaaS security configurations and data access policies
  • Implement least-privilege access controls and leverage SIEM tools for alerting
  • Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and DNS
  • Implement and maintain network monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
  • Administer MDM platforms (Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or NinjaOne) for macOS, Windows, and mobile devices
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for device provisioning, configuration, and patch management
  • Ensure secure, consistent device onboarding and offboarding
  • Familiar with Apple Command Line Tools and Package Management for laptop provisioning and troubleshooting
  • Utilize API connections to automate key IT tasks and HRIS-driven workflows (Rippling, BambooHR, etc.)
  • Manage SaaS renewals, negotiate with vendors, and assess product fit and value
  • Maintain accurate software inventory and renewal calendars
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize software spend
