Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related automation field, along with eight years of experience as an Engineer, preferably in automation equipment-related fields. Project management experience is preferred.
As a Senior System/Automation Engineer, the primary responsibilities include collaborating with teams to identify labor efficiency gaps, analyzing process flows and equipment layouts to find improvement opportunities, preparing brainstorming sessions, evaluating improvement ideas based on ROI, proposing ideas to management, designing automation solutions through benchmarking and vendor partnerships, researching best practices, selecting suppliers, planning and leading implementation of automation solutions, acting as a key interface with vendors, and collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production ramp-up.
