Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of three years of experience in Mechanical Design, with expertise in designing robust enclosures for industrial IoT and electromechanical devices. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software is required, along with experience in injection molding and sheet metal fabrication. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including statics, dynamics, and material science, is essential.

Responsibilities

This Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for defining product architecture, influencing critical decisions across Mechanical, Electrical, and Performance domains, and designing mechanical components and assemblies. They will create manufacturing drawings and specifications for mechanical parts, conduct thorough analysis and testing to validate design choices, and deliver physical prototypes for testing and validation. Furthermore, they will contribute to Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and deliver test reports documenting the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.
