Requirements

  • Ability to actively participate in RFP responses, including leading the development of presentations and leading pitches
  • Expertise in supervising and participating in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning
  • Proficiency in creating accurate and detailed project schedules, weekly field updates, incorporating owner milestone dates, and assessing schedule feasibility
  • Experience preparing schedules and proposed phasing plans for projects and potential projects to support budgeting and bidding
  • Capability to manage multiple, large, and/or complex projects with high levels of quality assurance and quality control
  • Skills in supervising and managing internal field teams, trade partners, and owner vendors
  • Ability to promote teamwork and open communication on project sites involving all stakeholders
  • Proactive problem-solving to resolve on-site challenges with minimal cost impact
  • Commitment to safety culture and OSHA standards to maintain zero-incident environments
  • Ability to coordinate plans and specifications with architects and engineers, and supervise accurate field document control
  • Experience developing and mentoring Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents through guidance and leading by example
  • Involvement in company growth activities such as interviewing interns/entry-level candidates, participating in Mentoring Program, and supporting Intern Program
  • Participation in business development, client relationship management, industry events, networking, and building relationships with clients and designers
  • Ability to develop training content and lead training classes on industry/company best practices, technical skills, and human skills
  • Professional role modeling for all team members
  • Potential supervisory responsibilities for Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and/or Interns

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the project in the field, including site access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality, and construction
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure execution of the project plan from pre-construction through closeout
  • Active involvement in firm operations and growth
  • Supervise and participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning
  • Create accurate project schedules and weekly field updates
  • Prepare schedules and phasing plans for budgeting and bidding
  • Manage multiple large/complex projects ensuring quality assurance/control
  • Supervise internal field team, trade partners, and owner vendors
  • Promote teamwork and communication on site
  • Proactively resolve on-site issues timely and cost-effectively
  • Champion safety culture and OSHA compliance for zero incidents
  • Coordinate with architects/engineers and maintain field document control
  • Develop team members through mentoring and leading by example
  • Contribute to company growth via interviews, mentoring, and intern support
  • Participate in business development and client relations
  • Develop and lead training sessions
