Requirements

  • Proven track record as a top-performing enterprise salesperson with experience handling large-scale enterprise clients
  • Expertise in securing and expanding high-value retail and CPG strategic enterprise accounts
  • Ability to lead C-suite engagements (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CMOs, CFOs) and navigate multi-year digital transformation initiatives
  • Proficiency in complex, multi-threaded sales cycles using frameworks like MEDDPICC
  • Strong capability to articulate product capabilities, differentiation, and collaborate with solutions consultants, value engineering, ISVs, SIs, alliances, professional services, and product leadership
  • Experience closing multi-million dollar, multi-year, multi-solution platform deals
  • Creative problem-solving skills, ability to simplify complex challenges, and curiosity-driven mindset
  • Quota-carrying experience with consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of the highest-value retail and CPG strategic enterprise accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales and account management, collaborating with customer success team and orchestrating executive relationships to maximize client value
  • Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving C-suite executives and their teams
  • Articulate commercetools' capabilities and differentiation; collaborate with solutions consultants to engage technical teams
  • Partner with value engineering team to focus on customer outcomes and drive cross/upsell for top-line growth
  • Manage organizational sales orchestration, including MEDDPICC and key relationships (Champions, EBs, influencers)
  • Collaborate with ISVs and SIs to achieve sales successes
  • Develop tailored account plans and manage execution cadence
  • Orchestrate internal/external resources (alliances, professional services, product leadership, GSIs) to craft enterprise transformation roadmaps
  • Influence digital strategy at board/executive level; position commercetools as an innovation partner
  • Close multi-year, multi-solution platform agreements across lines of business, regions, and brands
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Track, analyze, and report on key account metrics (revenue growth, customer satisfaction, project delivery)
