Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of overall business development experience selling technology solutions to State and local government agencies, along with 4+ years of leadership experience. They require deep knowledge of government agency operations, including funding sources, and experience working with major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science from a leading university or equivalent experience is necessary, and an MBA or master’s degree is desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior State and Local Government Business Development Manager will drive worldwide growth strategies for NVIDIA’s platform in State and Local Government, building a GTM business plan and a programmatic approach to growing channel revenue in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams. They will craft alignment and joint GTM with cloud solution partners, develop the sales play and training for partners, foster lasting channel partnerships to scale Generative AI and Data Science opportunities, expand generative AI use cases, develop Light House Accounts, build and measure progress against the business plan, implement programs to achieve goals, and collaborate with product management teams to address customer technical bottlenecks. They will also work with a virtual team of sales managers through channel programs and joint partner solutions.
