Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies and languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Kotlin, or Golang. They should have experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, and Snowflake, along with experience in building event-driven architectures at high scale and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Strong experience with Docker container development and hosting, Git, and code reviews is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with developers, product managers, and designers to guide technical decisions, design and develop high-quality, secure, and performant cloud APIs, prototype unproven concepts, automate tasks using CI/CD, build tools for self-managed teams, and collaborate with cloud, mobile, and edge teams to diagnose and resolve issues. They will also stay abreast of cloud trends, establish and promote best practices in cloud codebases, build reusable libraries and SDKs, and establish and define cloud initiatives.
