Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud, along with familiarity with generative AI techniques like RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning. They require deep knowledge of Python and common ML packages such as LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch, alongside data engineering tools like dbt, Airflow, and Spark. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field being preferred.
The Principal AI/ML Architect will serve as the technical expert, positioning Snowflake’s AI and ML features and value to technical stakeholders and data scientists at Snowflake’s customers across the Americas. They will partner with Snowflake account teams and customer champions to drive POCs to success, deliver executive readouts, and create business value cases. This role involves collaborating with Snowflake’s product and engineering teams to influence Snowflake’s AI and ML roadmaps based on customer feedback, publishing content to scale beyond individual efforts, and influencing the creation of Sales Engineering AI and ML selling assets, including customer presentations and demonstrations.
