Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in 24x7 production operations supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider, 10+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS, 10+ years of experience with containerization, virtualization, and configuration management technologies, 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, 5+ years of experience with Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), managing infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions in AWS, 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, especially for Terraform and Kubernetes, and 10+ years of experience using scripting languages (Ruby, Python, etc) and strong proficiency with shell scripting. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff DevOps Engineer will proactively work with Engineering, Product, Services, and other functional departments to design, improve, and implement our global customer-facing SaaS infrastructure, develop and implement new architecture patterns using Infrastructure-as-Code, design, build, and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAs, automate deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response, monitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issues, design and scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand, manage cross-functional requirements working with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments, collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production, develop and improve operational practices and procedures, proactively meet standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc., and operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment.
