Candidates must possess strong knowledge of subscription-based, usage-based, and enterprise licensing models, and proven negotiation skills with major technology providers. Experience with procurement tools like Coupa or SAP Ariba, and advanced Excel or analytics tools, is necessary. Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills are also essential. Preferred qualifications include CPSM, AWS Cloud Practitioner, FinOps Certified Practitioner, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
The Senior Sourcing Business Partner will develop and maintain category strategies based on market trends and business requirements, continuously monitoring supplier landscapes and emerging technologies to identify cost optimization opportunities. They will lead RFPs, RFIs, and negotiations for assigned technology categories, collaborating with Legal and InfoSec to ensure favorable contract terms, data privacy, and compliance. This role involves serving as the primary contact for strategic suppliers, monitoring their performance against KPIs and SLAs, and leading regular business reviews to drive continuous improvement. The position requires partnering with Sourcing Business Partners and Finance to align strategies with business needs, track budget impact, and forecast spend, while also educating stakeholders on sourcing best practices and governance.
