Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of Event-Driven architecture, Data Integration & Processing Techniques, and Database & Data Warehouse technologies. Experience with Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment & Application Development, Automation, GitOps, and Kubernetes is required, along with proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL. Relevant technical certifications, self-starter behavior, a desire to learn, and exceptional presentation and communication skills are also necessary, including the ability to present to diverse audiences from developers to C-level executives.

Responsibilities

Solutions Engineers will advance Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live, execute and lead Technical Proofs of Concept, and conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions to develop new use-cases. They will provide thought leadership through technical talks and workshops, guide customers with hands-on help and best practices to drive operational maturity of their Confluent Deployment, and analyze customer consumption trends to identify optimization opportunities. The role involves close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams, serving as a key product advocate, and forging strong relationships with key customer stakeholders to act as a dependable partner.
