Requirements
Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is preferred, with a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration being a plus. Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences are required. Candidates should have a broad range of experience in large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, along with hands-on expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python. Experience with Global System Integrators like EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial, and familiarity with SLED, PubSec, or industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
The Senior Solution Engineer will work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and strategize on winning sales cycles. They will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, and support enterprise Proof of Concepts. The role involves collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
