Requirements

Candidates should possess extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience within a SaaS environment or a related industry, such as analytics, data science, or data engineering, along with a proven track record of delivering technical wins and fostering strong customer relationships. They must demonstrate leadership and impact beyond their individual accounts, including uplifting other team members or regional partners. Strong understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology, coupled with hands-on SQL experience and the ability to translate customer-specific business problems into Snowflake solutions, are also required. Fluency in Flemish is mandatory, with French being a desirable asset.

Responsibilities

The Senior Solution Engineer will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers, working hands-on to demonstrate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle. They will create and develop technical champions within customer accounts, stay at the forefront of Snowflake technology and roadmap features, immerse themselves in industry trends, collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams, represent Snowflake at events, and work with ecosystem partners to build joint architectures and support customer success. They will proactively contribute to account and territory plans, leveraging market knowledge and their network to open doors for the company.
