Requirements

5+ years professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company
3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management

Responsibilities

Work with sales teams to support direct and indirect sales efforts, as well as with partners and customers
Articulate the value of SailPoint solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Discover customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions to address identity challenges
Demonstrate product capabilities
Complete onboarding training, including Getting Started Checklist, Pre/Post Revenue Onboarding Coursework, HR sessions, Identity University courses, and role-specific training within the first month
Familiarize with high-level org chart, business functions, video collateral, SailPoint pitch, key stakeholders, buddy meetings, and administrative tasks
Shadow discovery calls, presentations, and demos
Become ‘field ready’ within 3 months: present SailPoint, platform, and demo to manager; maintain meetings with buddy and Account Executives; know RFx response process and lead first RFx
By end of 12 months: complete platform training and attain product certification; build value-driven narrative; engage with senior execs; lead technical aspects of opportunities from discovery to close; contribute to customer success stories, white papers, blogs, and social media; participate in internal meetings and enablement; mentor new team members
