Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company
  • 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management

Responsibilities

  • Work with sales teams to support direct and indirect sales efforts, as well as with partners and customers
  • Articulate the value of SailPoint solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Discover customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions to address identity challenges
  • Demonstrate product capabilities
  • Complete onboarding training, including Getting Started Checklist, Pre/Post Revenue Onboarding Coursework, HR sessions, Identity University courses, and role-specific training within the first month
  • Familiarize with high-level org chart, business functions, video collateral, SailPoint pitch, key stakeholders, buddy meetings, and administrative tasks
  • Shadow discovery calls, presentations, and demos
  • Become ‘field ready’ within 3 months: present SailPoint, platform, and demo to manager; maintain meetings with buddy and Account Executives; know RFx response process and lead first RFx
  • By end of 12 months: complete platform training and attain product certification; build value-driven narrative; engage with senior execs; lead technical aspects of opportunities from discovery to close; contribute to customer success stories, white papers, blogs, and social media; participate in internal meetings and enablement; mentor new team members
