Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like Flask, LiteStart, or FastAPI are required. Experience with front-end components at scale, building and operating Service Oriented Architectures, and modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React are necessary. Knowledge of database systems and SQL is a plus, as is experience with CMS, tag management, SEO, or privacy regulations like CCPA/CPRA. Experience with AWS, Docker, Jinja, front-end optimization, and decomposing monolithic systems are considered bonus points.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications, primarily using Python and focusing on service-oriented architecture and performance. They will enhance the performance and scalability of applications, mentor junior engineers in best practices, and collaborate with business partners to deliver strategic features.
