Position Overview

Succinct is building ZK proofs to make them accessible to any developer. SP1 is a state-of-the-art zkVM with performance rivaling custom ZK circuits, allowing developers to use ZK with normal programming languages like Rust. The Succinct Prover Network is a hosted infrastructure layer for outsourcing proof generation. Top teams like Celestia, Wormhole, Lido, Avail, Near, and Gnosis are using Succinct’s infrastructure. The company recently raised $55 million and is looking for exceptional people to work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help new users of SP1 or the decentralized prover network integrate these products into their stack.
• Explore new use-cases and demos for Succinct’s technologies, creating Proof-of-Concept (POCs).
• Design and implement new product features for SP1 and the prover network APIs based on customer requests.
• This role is customer-facing and product-oriented, requiring a passion for engineering and high user empathy.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong grasp of one of Rust, Golang, or Typescript.
  • Familiarity with blockchain design and systems.
  • Ability to write code end-to-end for projects across the stack (similar to a hackathon project).
• Mindset & Skills:
  • Hacker spirit and ability to be pragmatic, execute quickly, and onboard onto new frameworks and stacks.
  • Ownership mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with existing rollup frameworks.
• Strong grasp of Rust, Golang, or Typescript.

Location

• Everyone on the team is located in San Francisco and works together in-person.
• Ideally, the role is for someone who enjoys in-person work and is already in San Francisco or willing to relocate (relocation costs covered).
• For senior candidates who are an exceptional fit, a remote position may be considered, provided they are available to onboard in-person for the first few months.
