Candidates must have 5+ years of working experience with Python in a software engineering role and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience with database system design, digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology is preferred. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, cloud-native environments, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and the Python Pandas library is also preferred. Strong understanding of data engineering and data warehousing best practices is beneficial.
The Software Engineer III will build scalable and maintainable software by applying a strong understanding of system architecture. They will design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems and architect, create, and deliver new features. Responsibilities include working with Product to drive requirements, owning projects end-to-end, analyzing and improving server efficiency, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. Additionally, they will act as a technical lead on initiatives, coordinate efforts, ensure delivery quality, and proactively address technical debt.
