Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of professional development experience with a strong understanding of backend server languages, specifically C#. Proven experience in building and shipping production-level features using modern front-end frameworks like React is essential. Proficiency with relational databases (SQL) and experience designing/extending scalable data models are required. Experience working in high-scale, distributed systems is also necessary. Bonus qualifications include experience developing loyalty programs, building integrations with email marketing or marketing automation platforms, professional experience with Ruby, and deep experience with third-party API integrations.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will architect and develop mission-critical features for a new loyalty and marketing platform using C# (.NET), React, and SQL Server. They will design and build scalable services for email marketing campaigns, customer rewards, and promotional offers. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to scope, design, and develop customer-facing features, and developing API integrations with third-party marketing and communication platforms. The engineer will also mentor and coach other engineers, contribute to core architectural decisions, and positively influence team culture, processes, and practices.
