Candidates must be proficient in an imperative programming language and have a good understanding of RESTful APIs and backend development. Familiarity with Docker, container-based architectures, Git in a trunk-based development environment, and Continuous Deployment principles and tools is required. Experience with frontend technologies, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure components like nginx, envoy, Kafka, Redis, Vault, Nomad, or Consul are considered a plus.
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the design and development of the Customer Identity & Access Management service, participating in system design and hands-on backend development. They will implement and maintain scalable, available, and secure REST APIs, and collaborate on global CI/CD and infrastructure deployment strategies for high availability. Responsibilities include supporting new IAM features, occasionally contributing to frontend tasks, evaluating and improving service quality through monitoring and performance enhancements, and exploring the integration of AI-powered tools into the development lifecycle.
