Senior Software Engineer - Conversation Intelligence

Position Overview

Replicant is at the forefront of transforming customer service with AI. We leverage advanced AI, including large language models (LLMs), to power AI agents and provide conversation intelligence for contact centers. Our platform helps businesses resolve customer requests efficiently, identify issues proactively, and enhance agent performance. We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Conversation Intelligence product team. This role involves building new features, refactoring code, debugging, and supporting our production environment.

Our technology stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python, deployed on Kubernetes in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

  • Build new features for Replicant’s Conversation Intelligence product.
  • Refactor, optimize, and debug existing code.
  • Provide code reviews and lead technical projects.
  • Participate in regular on-call rotations, including monitoring metrics, triaging alerts, and responding to issues.
  • Utilize metrics and team experience to drive development decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage and prioritize work using an agile process.
  • Share technical knowledge and passion for learning with the team and peers.
  • Identify and drive the adoption of best practices and design patterns within the team.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven experience building customer-facing user interfaces.
  • Experience working in live production environments.
  • Experience leading technical projects.
  • A strong desire to learn and work across the team's entire tech stack.
  • Experience writing production TypeScript.
  • Experience working with the React framework.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining customer-facing product features.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus, but not required):

  • Experience with LLM prompt tuning.
  • Experience writing production Python.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Services.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes.
