Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD. They should have experience with state-of-the-art robotics sensor calibration algorithms.
The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop novel calibration solutions for a diverse range of sensors, including camera, radar, and lidar, in both factory and unstructured environments. They will also design and implement solutions to ensure the vehicle platform remains aware of its calibration state and maintains calibration over extended periods. Furthermore, the engineer will provide coding and design expertise, conduct code reviews, drive testing strategies, and mentor junior team members, contributing to a high-performing team that delivers reliable software through design reviews, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.
