Requirements

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
4+ years of professional software development experience with strong backend engineering skills
Proficiency in Java and Python
Experience with streaming data frameworks and building cloud-based applications using AWS
Hands-on experience with Temporal, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Datadog
Ability to design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend services
Advanced level of English
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Experience as a software test engineer (preferred)
Background in the media streaming industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable automated validations within a service-focused framework
Apply cloud services to create and sustain dependable infrastructure for high-availability systems
Collaborate with backend development teams to improve code quality through unit tests, automation, and code reviews
Participate in the full application lifecycle, solving complex challenges and delivering robust solutions
Identify test coverage gaps and work with project managers to prioritize roadmaps
