Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with over 5 years of experience in software configuration management, release engineering, or QA. Familiarity with GJB, ISO 27001, or CMMI frameworks is preferred. Proficiency in SCM tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker, expertise in build/CI/CD pipelines and scripting (e.g., Python), and knowledge of compliance standards in Automotive software (ASPICE, etc.) are essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP), establish and enforce baselines, and implement version control systems. They will oversee build automation, manage release branches, chair or advise the Change Control Board (CCB), and ensure formal review, approval, and testing of changes. Responsibilities include conducting configuration audits, administering CMDBs and tools, defining access controls, coordinating software releases, ensuring traceability, managing emergency rollbacks, and training team members on SCM processes and tools.
