Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's degree. A strong understanding of PLM systems, particularly Teamcenter, is required, along with familiarity with configuration management standards such as EIA-649, ISO 10007, and MIL-STD-973. Experience implementing configuration management processes in both development/R&D and production environments, especially within a certified aircraft development program, is essential. The role also demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation. Preferred qualifications include certifications in Configuration Management (CMPIC, CMII, or equivalent), working knowledge of Teamcenter, experience with DO-178B/C and/or DO-254, and familiarity with SharePoint, JIRA, Power Automate, or Confluence.

Responsibilities

The Configuration & Document Management Analyst will be responsible for maintaining product data integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining full traceability throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves managing end-to-end configuration and change control processes, including the review and coordination of various change notices and requests. The analyst will conduct configuration audits, manage version control, and perform release activities. They will also review engineering data packages for accuracy and conformance, collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold configuration management standards, and administer Program Change Control Boards. Additionally, the analyst will maintain PLM tools, lead continuous improvement initiatives for CM/DM processes and PLM functionality, support the validation and testing of new PLM features, and assist in creating and maintaining CM/DM policies, procedures, and training materials. A key responsibility is managing and controlling all engineering and company-level documents, ensuring proper review, approval, and release processes are followed and documented.
