Experience with build tools like Gradle or Maven, containerizing build workloads, Fastlane deployment, and distributing mobile apps to the Google Play Store is also necessary.
The Senior Mobile Android Build and Release Engineer will build, maintain, and operate mobile app CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure, including working with vendor partners. They will create next-generation developer tooling and infrastructure for mobile apps, focusing on productivity, testing, and release. Responsibilities include tracking infrastructure service usage, ensuring performance and cost control, developing telemetry and alerting for improvements, monitoring and fixing build pipelines, and collaborating with leadership and partners to keep pipelines updated with newer Android versions.
