Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering teams that develop both structured query and significant object-oriented analysis, design, and programming
  • Proficient in using Java, Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka/Pulsar
  • Experience using SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, test tools, JUnit, Query analyzer, performance tuning, DevOps CI/CD pipeline, Jira, Github and Github actions
  • Demonstrated expertise managing teams that deploy modern design patterns and scalable, reusable code
  • Demonstrated results in successful project execution
  • Excellent multi-functional communication and leadership skills - able to get multiple teams moving in the same direction
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity while driving timely decision making

Responsibilities

  • Execute the plan for design, development, testing, and automation of intelligent manufacturing application software using Scala, Java, Python, MS SQL Server, Kafka/Pulsar, Junit, etc. within Azure Cloud and on-prem
  • Work cross functionally with design, shared services, product, systems, and program teams to ensure all pieces come together and release of quality software products on time
  • Help develop and lead strategic action plans to support business goals working closely with manufacturing business
  • Embrace agile software development practices that will enable your team’s capability for the future with a focus on speed, quality, and safety
  • Use agile concepts to empower your team to innovate and grow technology
  • Enable teams to design and develop in Azure Databricks cloud platform to support Intelligent Manufacturing
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration with architecture and design, product, safety, systems, and other groups within and outside the company to implement predictive maintenance models
  • Support existing applications that are based on SQL Server using SSIS, Python, SQL, involving massive amount of data
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support operational cadence
  • Mentor, coach and develop employees
  • Lead automation activities at every level
  • Execute resource planning for required activities
