Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent fields
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering teams that develop both structured query and significant object-oriented analysis, design, and programming
Proficient in using Java, Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka/Pulsar
Experience using SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, test tools, JUnit, Query analyzer, performance tuning, DevOps CI/CD pipeline, Jira, Github and Github actions
Demonstrated expertise managing teams that deploy modern design patterns and scalable, reusable code
Demonstrated results in successful project execution
Excellent multi-functional communication and leadership skills - able to get multiple teams moving in the same direction
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity while driving timely decision making

Responsibilities

Execute the plan for design, development, testing, and automation of intelligent manufacturing application software using Scala, Java, Python, MS SQL Server, Kafka/Pulsar, Junit, etc. within Azure Cloud and on-prem
Work cross functionally with design, shared services, product, systems, and program teams to ensure all pieces come together and release of quality software products on time
Help develop and lead strategic action plans to support business goals working closely with manufacturing business
Embrace agile software development practices that will enable your team’s capability for the future with a focus on speed, quality, and safety
Use agile concepts to empower your team to innovate and grow technology
Enable teams to design and develop in Azure Databricks cloud platform to support Intelligent Manufacturing
Facilitate cross functional collaboration with architecture and design, product, safety, systems, and other groups within and outside the company to implement predictive maintenance models
Support existing applications that are based on SQL Server using SSIS, Python, SQL, involving massive amount of data
Participate in on-call rotation to support operational cadence
Mentor, coach and develop employees
Lead automation activities at every level
Execute resource planning for required activities
