Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent four-year degree. A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing commercial server-side software products or end-to-end service solutions, including system component ownership, is required. Strong experience in building and deploying web applications (backend and/or frontend) with an understanding of end-to-end n-tier enterprise software architectures is essential. Proficiency in server-side Java/J2EE technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, Servlets, XML) and client-tier technologies (HTML, JS, ReactJS, React Native) is necessary. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), Test-Driven Development (TDD), clear verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, particularly in frontend development, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Development Engineer will write architecture and design specifications for products, features, and prototypes, and support secure, efficient, containerized software for Adobe Acrobat Sign. They will develop and maintain production-quality features with a focus on user experience. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, product management, UX design, and program management to define requirements and use cases. The role also involves exploring, evaluating, and integrating new technologies, translating ideas into interactive prototypes, and collaborating with other Adobe teams to expand knowledge and stay current with development, testing, and deployment methodologies.
