Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of software development experience in any programming language and expertise in designing and developing performance tests for data-intensive applications or data streams. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins is required, along with a strong understanding of resource management in Linux or Windows. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is experience working remotely.

Responsibilities

The Senior Performance Engineer will develop and execute performance tests at scale to identify bottlenecks and anomalous system behavior, and root cause performance or scalability issues. They will collaborate with development teams to implement improvements, create tools and frameworks to facilitate performance testing, and integrate performance testing with continuous testing systems and automation. This role may also require standby, on-call, or off-hours duties.
