Candidates must have proven experience as a QA Engineer or SDET with leadership responsibilities, experience with performance testing tools like Locust or Azure Load Testing, and the ability to make command-line requests using curl or similar tools. A strong understanding of REST vs RPC, HTTP verbs, and content types is required, along with experience designing automated test frameworks and suites for UI and APIs. Comfort working with Agile methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote teams, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring, team development, and quality engineering excellence, with a strong understanding of Java code and experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, GraphQL, NoSQL, and containerized environments being advantageous.
The QA Tech Lead will take ownership of testing architecture and execution across web platforms and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and guiding a team of QA engineers. This role involves hands-on manual and automated testing, with a focus on API-based testing and system-level debugging for performance, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities include crafting comprehensive test strategies, integrating modern test tools and frameworks, and enabling continuous quality improvement. The Lead will mentor and inspire QA engineers, collaborate with product managers and developers on test plans, architect and implement test automation frameworks, write and review test code, debug complex web applications, support continuous improvement in QA workflows, and diagnose issues with detailed bug reports.
