Position Overview

Experian's North America Corporate Social Media team is looking for a Sr. Social Content Designer to create eye-catching, platform-ready content that boosts engagement and supports our communications strategy across social media and our global news blog. You'll be a hands-on designer and editor who knows how to turn complex topics into thumb-stopping visuals—and someone who understands how social media fits into our larger public relations and brand storytelling strategy. You will blend creativity, strategy, and communication awareness, working with PR and social teams to amplify our voice and protect our brand. This is a remote position. You will report to the Director of Social Media.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce social-first content, including short-form video, motion graphics, carousels, GIFs, and graphics.
  • Translate complex topics—like financial health, data, and technology—into visually compelling content.
  • Edit platform-optimized videos, using best practices for sound, captions, pacing, and format.
  • Collaborate across teams to align content with messaging priorities, media moments, and campaign goals.
  • Ensure consistency in brand, tone, and accessibility across all content.
  • Stay current on trends and social storytelling tactics to bring fresh, relevant ideas.
  • Develop reusable templates and assets to scale content production regionally and globally.
  • Support campaign execution and offer creative input to team members.
  • Align all work with Experian’s brand and corporate communications objectives.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing, with an emphasis on content for social media platforms.
  • A portfolio that showcases motion design, social video editing, and graphics created for brand storytelling.
  • Experience with public relations, reputation management, or strategic communications, either through education (communications/PR degree) or direct collaboration with PR or corporate comms teams.
  • Proficiency with popular graphic and video software tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
  • Knowledge of social media formats, creative best practices, and content specs for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, BlueSky, Discord, and X.
  • Visual storytelling instincts, editorial sensitivity, and attention to brand tone.
  • Bonus: Experience using AI for content, brainstorming, visuals, storytelling.
