Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and operate resilient, cloud-native infrastructure in AWS, with a strong focus on EKS, IAM, RBAC, and modern security-first practices.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security to enable velocity without compromising safety.
• Own observability across the entire stack utilizing Datadog for metrics, logging, alerting, and tracing.
• Write and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code automation.
• Develop internal tools and scripts in Python to automate operational workflows and reduce manual overhead.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks and standards, to ensure team alignment and system stability.
• Actively contribute to Agile workflows using Jira, ensuring clear tracking of work, priorities, and progress.
• Participate in on-call rotations, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives with a blameless, team-first mindset.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Senior SRE or DevOps role supporting production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Deep experience with AWS services including IAM, EKS, VPC, EC2, Secrets Manager, and RBAC.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and container orchestration technologies.
• Proven experience building and maintaining GitHub Actions for CI/CD, including leveraging GitHub Advanced Security features like secret scanning and code policy enforcement.
• Strong experience with Datadog, including building dashboards, tuning alerts, setting up monitors, and interpreting telemetry.
• Solid experience with Python scripting for automation and internal tool development.
• A strong value for clear, accurate documentation as a core engineering practice.
• Comfort working within Agile/Scrum environments with well-tracked Jira workflows.
• Practical experience with resource analysis and infrastructure optimization.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $122,000 - $164,000 per year
