Responsibilities

  • Managing performance, developing talent, engagement, and inclusion
  • Communicating business and operational developments
  • Planning, prioritizing, and/or directing the responsibilities of direct reports
  • Supervisory of professionals focused on tactical, operational, and some strategic activities
  • Accountability for mentoring, developing, and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives
  • Providing leadership to staff, ensuring prioritization of strategic and department-level initiatives
  • Defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development
  • Analyzing and evaluating existing processes to assess effectiveness and usage
  • Proactively informing the Manager of critical or structural issues and collaborating on action plans
  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify root causes of problems
  • Planning, leading, and implementing process improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma)
  • Monitoring and maintaining Control Mechanisms (e.g., KPIs) on process performance and quality
  • Adhering to household rules, Code of Conduct, and EHS procedures
  • Performing all activities in compliance with work instructions and quality procedures
  • Demonstrating a collaborative attitude and contributing to a positive work environment
