Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years' experience working in ecommerce as a data/business analyst, 5+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, customer success managers, solution engineers, data scientists, product managers, partners, and customers, and 2+ years' experience with search relevance and ranking optimization. Strong analytic skills working with both structured and unstructured datasets are required, along with experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Search Performance Business Analyst will analyze 1st party and 3rd party analytics and A/B test data to assess search and discovery performance, including query spectrum coverage, result-set relevance, and ranking efficiency. They will work with large customers to improve AI feature adoption, expansion, and renewal rates, tying performance data to business outcomes and delivering ROI analyses for prospective and existing customers. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and optimizing core ranking and AI feature configuration, identifying customer areas for focused effort, developing thought leadership, and advising customers on maximizing Algolia’s AI Search platform.
