Requirements

Candidates should possess proficiency in designing and developing software using Go, SQL, and Typescript/React, along with a strong understanding of database performance analysis and infrastructure/networking concepts. They must also be familiar with the challenges of deploying high availability installations of enterprise software supporting large numbers of users, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

The Senior SDE will collaborate effectively with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders, ensuring compliance with federal standards and mission alignment, and delivering secure, mission-critical solutions. They will build custom software solutions using Go and SQL, such as Mattermost plugins, for top customers, drive complex deployments to a healthy state, provide deployment and upgrade guidance, identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, and collaborate with other engineering and product teams to share knowledge and assist Customer Success and Support teams with trouble-shooting and incident response.
