Requirements

Candidates should possess 3+ years of professional software development experience, a passion for Golang, and prior experience with additional modern languages such as Python, Ruby, .Net, Java, or C++. They should have hands-on knowledge of designing APIs, experience using Docker, and a strong understanding of CI/CD practices. Experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud computing platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure is also required.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Software Engineer II, you will develop core services primarily using Golang and PostgreSQL, resolve issues with previously delivered features, write unit and integration tests, peer review code, ensure software security and maintainability, and work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to encourage automation and continuous improvement. You will also help and accelerate foundational services to scale the output of product teams, and contribute to modern, scalable system architectures.
