Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for all professional sales education and development within the Orthopaedic Instruments Business Unit
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure training and development programs are strategically aligned to drive top line revenue growth and annual business planning achievement
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise the sales enablement team to ensure best-in-class program development, planning, and execution
  • Create a learning and development strategy and curriculum that elevates the core capabilities of the sales team to achieve long-term strategic planning financials
  • Develop a strong collaborative, team-oriented environment between the Sales Enablement Team and the Sales & Marketing Teams
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Leadership to understand the business’ financial goals, operations model, strategies, competitive position, challenges, and culture to align sales education and talent development initiatives
  • Achieve sales education operational objectives by contributing learning recommendations to Orthopaedic Instruments’ strategic plans and reviews
  • Ensure training is delivered using technology in classroom, virtual, and social learning formats to foster knowledge sharing
  • Ensure training is designed and executed as a capability-based curriculum to build competencies for sales success
  • Provide appreciative and constructive feedback to participants and key stakeholders in Sales Education programs and resource creation
  • Champion a culture of learning and a strong Orthopaedic Instruments Sales Education Training and Development function
