Requirements

  • Strong sales skills to deliver customer value and prioritize high-impact deals, with strong commercial experience as a representative combined with operational-facing expertise
  • Highly self-directed, demonstrating initiative to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Experience in mining operations or heavy equipment, with a strong understanding of industry practices and proven background working with heavy equipment dealer networks
  • Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions, and work with a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations while ensuring Caterpillar business interests are met
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment, and ability to prioritize between mission critical work and other day-to-day assignments
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret information

Responsibilities

  • Lead and refine the Strategic Accounts alliance agreement process using global best practices
  • Ensure compliance across multiple alliance agreements
  • Collaborate globally as a Deal Team member on high-stakes negotiations
  • Partner cross-functionally with Demand Management, Pricing, Aftermarket Solutions, Legal, and more to develop terms, assess risk, and finalize agreements
  • Support legal drafting and revisions for alliance agreements
  • Drive execution, ensuring signed agreements are implemented effectively
  • Enhance financial tools to evaluate commercial packages and maintain equity compliance
  • Lead strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Administer CI tools, supporting the Strategic Accounts Continuous Improvement team
