Requirements

  • 5-7 years' overall business experience that includes field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in retail or sales is strongly preferred, or Nike experience in a field support position
  • Proven Leadership Ability
  • Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive presentations
  • Sport passionate
  • Understanding of the competitive market, customer, and retail trends
  • Understanding of Team Sales
  • Ability to use financial data to make decisions and maximize account profitability

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Sporting Goods & Sport Specialty Marketplace strategy within the ecosystem of retailers, authenticators, and community members
  • Analyze wholesale and retail business results
  • Deliver engaging presentations
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Optimize Nike product sales by developing accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Solicit and submit orders
  • Ensure timely coordination of order tracking, retail release and launch information, order confirmation, cancellations/Return-To-Stock summaries and delivery of information
  • Increase sell-in and sell-through by preparing, planning and delivering clear and persuasive merchandising and product presentations
  • Manage key franchise
  • Track trends to inform the forecasting process and ensure a healthy marketplace
  • Be an expert in assigned territory
  • Facilitate market travel to key destinations for designated groups as required
