  • Experience managing Walmart or similar key accounts, including building relationships with multiple buyers/merchants across categories (approximately 10 buyers)
  • Proven track record in sales leadership for health and wellness brands, ideally with brands like Smarty Pants, Welly, and Onnit
  • Strategic and thought leadership to scale business growth
  • Cross-functional leadership skills demonstrating teamwork, partnership, and a holistic business approach
  • Experience working with broker networks and transitioning to a direct model
  • Ability to manage trade spend profitably and ensure pricing/financial guidelines are followed

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales efforts at Walmart as well as any other customers/brands identified by Sales leadership
  • Manage the Smarty Pants, Welly, and Onnit brands for the Walmart business across 4 categories
  • Provide leadership to one direct report (Associate Customer Business Manager)
  • Own assigned trade spend to profitably grow the business
  • Build and manage relationships with multiple merchants across categories, ensuring joint goals are met
  • Collaborate with Walmart to ensure true partnership and accountability
  • Strategically plan and execute annual business plans
  • Serve as the “execution arm” of WBC Collective and bring plans to life at retail
  • Plan and execute profitable, “on-strategy” display programs
  • Ensure pricing/financial guidelines are followed in the marketplace
  • Articulate the WBC’s unique positioning to deliver overall growth
  • Act as an ambassador of team values and contribute to a positive culture
